Textreme Flat Chenille Assorted Colors is an assorted-colour card of flat chenille with a very thin core and fibres arranged mainly flat and relatively sparse. This construction builds a slimmer, less bulky body for small and medium-sized flies.

Construction and use

Choose the version according to the fly size and the profile required. Expose a short section of the thin core, tie it in on the hook shank, and wrap it in adjacent turns. Sweep the fibres back before each turn to preserve the flat arrangement and reduce compression. Flat Chenille can form bodies, wraps and selected segments when a fibrous surface is wanted without adding excessive width to the fly. The card is an assorted colour format, with no fixed colour set implied.
