Dr Slick Twisted Loop 3.5 Arrow Scissor
Dr Slick Twisted Loop 3.5 Arrow Scissor is a compact fly-tying scissor distinguished by its asymmetrical Twisted Loop handle arrangement. One finger loop is offset from the other, with an open gap between them. This geometry gives the fingers more room, supports controlled handling and can reduce fatigue during longer tying sessions. The thumb is placed in the standard, non-offset loop. The design is particularly convenient for tiers who prefer to keep their scissors in hand between successive tying steps.
The scissor has an overall length of 3.5″ and uses the short, fine, straight blade format of the Arrow frame, intended for small flies and detailed trimming. A serrated cutting edge helps hold fibres on the cutting line instead of allowing them to slide away from the blade. The tool is made from Japanese 410 stainless steel with a hardness of 45 HRC. Its cutting configuration is intended for natural materials and can also handle most synthetics used in fly tying.
