Loon Ergo Bodkin
Loon Ergo Bodkin is an individual fly-tying needle distinguished by a strong Japanese spring-steel shaft and an ergonomic, powder-coated handle. The shaped grip gives the fingers a broader contact area than the slender shaft alone, helping the user guide the point and rotate the tool during detailed work at the vise.
The bodkin can be used to separate fibres, tease out individual strands of dubbing, clear a hook eye and place small amounts of head cement or resin. Its slender point reaches close to the head of a fly and allows materials to be repositioned without resorting to a larger tool. Spring-steel construction combines the stiffness required for controlled movements with durability for regular bench use, while the powder-coated finish protects the ergonomic handle.
