Akita AK 307 SS Fly Hooks (10)

Akita AK307 SS (10) is an O’Shaughnessy hook with a short shank and stainless-steel construction. The 2x-strong specification and ringed eye suit strong streamers, salmon flies and saltwater patterns where a compact but robust tying platform is useful.

Design and use

The short shank limits body length and helps produce compact fly proportions without an unnecessarily extended silhouette. Its reinforced construction can be matched with the materials and tying methods used for larger patterns. The ringed eye gives a conventional leader connection, while clear space around the point should be retained so the finished fly can work as intended.
