Akita AK 471 BL Fly Hooks (25)

Akita AK 471 BL is a barbless fly hook for streamers and larger nymphs. It is suited to patterns that need a solid tying platform while retaining a barbless format.

Design and use

Select this hook for compact or fuller streamers and for larger nymphs that require tying room for the body, abdomen and additional weight. Keep the proportions appropriate to the chosen pattern and leave a clear working area around the eye and bend. The barbless form makes it a practical option for fisheries where barbless hooks are required or preferred. It can serve as a general platform for larger streamer and nymph designs.
