Akita AK 482 Fly Hooks (25)

Akita AK 482 is a barbed hook for streamers, nymphs and Matuka flies. Its long, straight shank supports a slim fly profile, while the heavy wire provides a firm foundation for longer dressings.

Construction and use

The downturned eye helps guide tying thread and materials on conventional streamers. The extended shank accommodates a long body and tail, as well as a fuller Muddler profile, while retaining proportions suited to other dressings. Heavy wire and forged construction suit heavier streamers and larger nymphs. The bronze finish pairs well with natural materials and traditional colour palettes.
