Akita AK 533 BL Fly Hooks (25)
Akita AK 533 BL (25) is a barbless hook intended mainly for dry flies and also suitable for micro nymphs. Its classic shape preserves familiar surface-fly proportions, while the bend provides space for patterns using a larger tungsten bead.
Design and use
The downturned eye keeps the front of the fly orderly, and the barbless form leaves useful room around the bend and point. For a dry fly, use the classic layout of body, wings and hackle. For a micro nymph, plan the body and bead so they do not occupy the entire working area. This model is non-forged and has a bronze finish.
