Akita AK 562BL Fly Hooks (20)

Akita AK 562BL is a barbless fly hook intended for streamers, nymphs and wet flies. Its medium wire provides a sound foundation for patterns that require a little more weight and strength than light surface dressings.

Construction and use

The downturned eye helps maintain a tidy head profile and leaves a practical area for the finishing turns. The proportions of the shank and bend provide room for a compact nymph, wet fly or small streamer body. Control the volume of the dressing to keep the hook gape clear. A black finish gives the hook a discreet appearance, while the barbless point allows the fly to be removed efficiently.
