Aqua Fit Over Demi Brown Polarized Fishing Sunglasses

Aqua Fit Over Demi Brown is fit-over polarised eyewear designed to be worn above prescription spectacles. The Demi Brown frame surrounds the glasses beneath it, while the polarised lenses reduce glare reflected from water and other flat surfaces. The resulting improvement in contrast can make subsurface detail easier to observe when light levels and water clarity allow.

Lens choices include lightweight Aqua PL lenses made from flat TAC sheet with a scratch-resistant surface treatment, and Aqua Polarchromic lenses combining polarisation with a photochromic response. Aqua states that the photochromic options reach maximum light absorption after 30 seconds in sunlight. The manufacturer also declares total UV protection for its fishing lenses.

Choosing and caring for the lenses

• Yellow PL is intended for low light, dusk and shaded streams.
• Grey or Brown PL helps control excessive brightness in full sun, while Rose-Copper supports contrast in mixed or overcast light.
• PH Amber and PH Grey change their light transmission in response to the surrounding light.
• Fit is not universal: check the width and height of your own spectacles, together with clearance at the bridge and temples. Clean the lenses with a microfibre cloth and store them away from abrasive surfaces.
