Black Jig
Black Jig is a simple, dark jig nymph for fishing close to the riverbed. It is a choice for trout and grayling in faster currents and deeper runs, especially when the fish are taking small, subdued food.
The tungsten bead gets the nymph quickly down to the riverbed. Fish it on a short-nymph rig or under an indicator, maintaining contact with the fly during its dead drift. The barbless hook makes releasing fish easier.
