Bristol Hopper Bibio
Bristol Hopper Bibio is a lake pattern imitating a terrestrial insect, useful when bibio and similar larger insects are blown onto the water. Fish it on trout lakes, particularly when wind pushes food towards the windward shore.
Present the fly near the surface and leave it static for a while after casting, or retrieve it very slowly with pauses. The barbless hook makes releasing the fish easier.
