Bristol Hopper Popper Black
Bristol Hopper Popper Black is a surface-fishing lake variation of the Hopper pattern, suggestive of terrestrial insects. The popper works on the surface and draws the attention of trout feeding in the shallows, around vegetation or from the surface.
After casting, leave the fly still for a moment, then work it with short, restrained retrieves and pauses. The black version creates a clear point on the water. Barbless hook, size #10.
