Brown Red CDC Caddis Jig
Brown Red CDC Caddis Jig is a brown-and-red tungsten-beaded caddis jig nymph. Its contrasting colours help it stand out in faster water, while the CDC feathers from around the preen gland move naturally in the current.
This pattern is for trout and grayling feeding close to the bottom. Fish it near the riverbed on a short-line nymph rig or beneath an indicator, controlling the dead drift through channels and behind stones. The tungsten bead gets the nymph quickly into the bottom zone, while the barbless hook makes releasing fish easier.
