Brown Sedge Hornedo
Brown Sedge Hornedo is a dry fly imitating an adult sedge. Choose it when sedges are flying over the river or being dislodged from the vegetation. It is intended for trout and grayling feeding close to the surface.
Fish it on a dead drift along undercut banks, beside rocks and through calmer water behind the main current. Towards the end of the drift, you can gently move the fly to imitate an insect trying to take off. The barbless hook makes releasing the fish easier.
