Buzzer Blackstone Red

Buzzer Blackstone Red is a lake imitation of a chironomid pupa with a red accent for greater contrast. Reach for it when trout are feeding beneath the surface or in the water column, and when they respond to more strongly marked flies.

Fish it slowly on a long leader, alternating short retrieves with longer pauses. Size #10 is useful when trout are selecting larger pupae. Tied on a barbless hook.
