Buzzer Glass Body Ribbed Gold Red

Buzzer Glass Body Ribbed Gold Red is a lake imitation of a chironomid pupa for trout feeding quietly just beneath the surface or at shallow depth, particularly when chironomids are present on the water. The glass body and gold rib set this version of the pattern apart.

Fish it on a long leader under a floating line. Retrieve it very slowly, with longer pauses, or allow the fly to hang almost motionless in the water column. The barbless hook makes releasing the fish easier.
