Dr Slick Curved 4 inch Gold Clamp is a compact fishing forceps designed for controlled, accurate work at the waterside. It can be used to grip a hook while releasing a fly, crush barbs and close split shot. Its 4-inch length makes the tool easy to guide when handling smaller flies or working in situations where precise jaw placement matters.
The jaws are curved through 30 degrees, helping the angler reach the hook while retaining a clearer view of the working area. Their contact surfaces are half smooth and half striated: the smooth section supports more delicate handling near the fly, while the textured section provides a firmer hold. Gold-coloured finger loops also make the clamp easy to identify among other vest or pack tools.
The clamp is made from Japanese 410 stainless steel with a hardness of 42 HRC. Wipe away moisture and debris after fishing. Following use in salt water, rinse it thoroughly in fresh water, dry it and apply a small amount of oil to the joint to help maintain smooth operation.
