Dr Slick Curved 5.5 inch Gold Clamp is a curved fishing clamp made for controlled streamside work. It provides a secure hold when removing hooks, crushing barbs and closing split shot. Its 5.5-inch length offers useful reach while retaining precise handling, and the jaws are set at a 30° angle to improve access and help keep the working tip in view when releasing a fish.
The jaw faces combine smooth and striated sections. The smooth area is useful for flattening a hook barb, while the textured section gives a firmer grip on hooks and small terminal-tackle components. A Pin-In Shank is incorporated for clearing blocked hook eyes and opening small split shot. Gold-finished finger loops make the clamp easy to handle during repeated fly changes and hook releases.
