Dr Slick Eco Pin On Reel 8 Ring
Dr Slick Eco Pin On Reel 8 Ring is a pin-on retractor designed to keep a small fishing accessory organised and ready for use. Attach a nipper, hook file or another lightweight tool, pull it out when required and let the reel draw the cord back afterwards. This arrangement reduces the chance of dropping or misplacing frequently used tackle and saves repeated trips to a vest pocket.
The safety-pin style fitting can be secured to a fishing vest, pack or tackle bag. Its retractable nylon cord provides useful working reach for trimming leader material or touching up a hook point. A figure-of-eight connector provides the attachment point for a tool fitted with a suitable eye or split ring.
Before fishing, check that the pin is firmly fastened, the reel retracts smoothly and the accessory is securely connected. Remove grit and residue after use; if the retractor has been exposed to salt water, rinse it with fresh water and allow it to dry thoroughly. It is intended for lightweight streamside tools that will not place unnecessary strain on the cord or mounting point.
