Dr Slick Swivel Ring Pin On Reel
Dr Slick Swivel Ring Pin On Reel is a pin-on retractor designed to keep lightweight fishing accessories organised and readily accessible. It provides a practical place for nippers, a hook file or a small bottle of fly treatment, avoiding the need to return the tool to a pocket after every use. Pull the attached item out when required and the reel draws it back when released.
The model uses a tough steel cord with a reach of 20 inches, or approximately 51 cm. This gives sufficient working range for handling an accessory near the leader or fly. Its swivelling ring provides a convenient connection point and allows the attached tool to settle into a natural position during use, helping to reduce awkward twisting.
A heavy-duty pin secures the retractor to a fishing vest, bag or rucksack. It should be positioned where the tool is easy to reach without interfering with the fly line. The reel is intended for lightweight accessories, as excessive loads may impair retraction. After fishing, remove moisture and dirt, then check the condition of the cord, swivel ring and attachment pin before storage.
