EP Ultra Brush 5 in. Wide

Enrico Puglisi EP Ultra Brush 5 in. Wide is a broad ready brush of synthetic fibres held in a stainless-steel wire core. It quickly builds a large streamer wing or back, and once secured it can be tapered and trimmed to suit the profile of the fly.

Construction and use

Translucent EP fibres form a prepared blend supported by the wire core. They do not absorb water, remain light, and work well in substantial baitfish profiles. The 5-inch width provides plenty of material for shaping, while the finished fly’s length depends on the hook shank and the final trim.

• Material form: synthetic fibres held in a stainless-wire core; wrap the brush along the hook shank.
• Dimension: the brush is 5 inches wide, providing material for a large streamer profile.
• Preparation: cut the required section, secure the core, and sweep the fibres back as you wrap.
• Shaping: trim the tied material into a wing, back or tail profile; permanent marker can be used to adjust the colour.
• Applications: large baitfish streamers as well as substantial crab and shrimp profiles.
