FFGene Black Grip Steel Clipper
FFGene Black Grip Steel Clipper is a compact leader nipper for routine tasks when preparing or adjusting a fly-fishing set-up. Its cutting edges allow the angler to shorten leader and tippet material and trim tag ends after tightening a knot. The pocket-sized format makes it easy to keep close at hand in a fishing vest, tackle bag or organiser alongside other frequently used accessories.
A black rubberised grip provides more secure handling, including when fingers are damp. At the opposite end, the built-in needle can be used to clear blocked hook eyes, whether the obstruction is caused by head cement, dressing material or small particles picked up during fishing. A hanging hole provides a practical connection point for a retractor, retaining cord or accessory ring.
After use, remove any scraps of line and wipe the nipper clean. If it has been exposed to dirt or water, rinse it as required and dry it thoroughly before storage.
