FFGene Bodkin w/Threader

FFGene Bodkin w/Threader is a single fly-tying bench accessory combining a steel bodkin with a threader. Each working end has its own brass handle, and the two sections are joined by a short chain. This arrangement allows them to be used separately while helping to keep both parts together at the tying station.

The pointed bodkin is intended for detailed work on a fly, including separating fibres, teasing out dubbing, clearing a hook eye and applying small amounts of varnish or adhesive. The threader uses a fine steel wire loop that passes through the tube of a bobbin holder. Placing the tying thread in the loop and drawing the tool back pulls the thread through the tube without having to guide a loose end into its narrow opening.
