FFGene Brass Metallic Bright Beads

FFGene Brass Metalic Bright Beads are brass beads with a bright metallic shine for weighting nymphs, streamers, and other flies built with a head at the hook eye. They provide moderate ballast and visible light reflections from the surface.

Construction and use

The central hole allows conventional seating. Select the bead to match the hook eye and shank, then check its passage over the bend and its fit on the particular hook. After passing the eye through, seat the bead against the eye and lock it in place with thread and the fly materials. Brass provides less ballast than a comparable tungsten component, so bead size affects the rate of descent.
