FFGene Dubbing needle

FFGene Dubbing needle is a straight fly-tying needle with a finely pointed working shaft and an elongated, faceted handle. Its slender tip is intended for controlled, localised work: lifting individual fibres, separating tied-in materials and adjusting small elements without having to grasp them with your fingers.

The needle is primarily used to pick out and shape natural or synthetic dubbing, including after the fly has been completed. The tip can also transfer a small amount of head cement or finishing adhesive and remove excess compound from a hook eye. It is equally useful for detail work during the construction of tube flies.
