FFGene Hair Dubbing Twister

FFGene Hair Spiner is a dubbing twister designed for forming a thread or wire loop loaded with hair, fibres or dubbing. Its distinguishing feature is a pair of resilient arms: they keep the sides of the loop apart while the material is arranged, then allow them to be twisted into a compact strand ready for winding.

The larger construction provides room for a fuller portion of material and is intended primarily for bigger fly patterns and stiffer dubbing. The tool can also be used to twist material between lengths of wire when preparing dubbing brushes. By holding the loop open, the arms provide access to its centre and make it easier to distribute fibres before twisting begins.
