FFGene Magnum Bobbin 2
FFGene Magnum Bobbin 2 is a complete fly-tying bobbin holder intended for dispensing thicker tying yarns. On this exact model, the Magnum designation identifies its use with bulkier material; it does not establish the presence of an adjustable-tension or drag mechanism. The holder keeps the spool contained and helps deliver yarn in a controlled manner, making it easier to place successive wraps without repeatedly unwinding the material by hand.
Before tying, seat the spool without forcing it and check that it rotates evenly. Feed the yarn through the thread path, then draw out a short section to confirm that it runs without catching. A correctly fitting spool and a clean thread path support more predictable material delivery. This model should not be confused with other FFGene bobbin holders: Magnum Bobbin 2 identifies this specific version within the product family.
