FFGene Optical Mouse

FFGene Optical Mouse is a wired optical computer mouse housed in a body styled to resemble a fishing lure. It combines the everyday purpose of a pointing device with a distinctive angling theme, making it suitable for a home desk, office or fly-tying area where a small fishing-related detail adds some character without sacrificing practical use.

The mouse is intended for routine computer work, including moving the pointer, selecting commands and navigating documents or web pages. Its optical tracking system operates without the ball and mechanical tracking components found in older designs. The model supports a USB connection as well as the stated standard computer connector, allowing it to be considered for older equipment fitted with a corresponding port.

Fishing-inspired finishes such as Firetiger, Crawdad and Red White give each version the appearance of familiar lure colour schemes. This makes the FFGene Optical Mouse a useful gift for an angler rather than merely a desk ornament. For consistent tracking, use it on a clean, even surface and occasionally remove dust from around the optical sensor. As with any wired mouse, route the cable so that it can move freely without snagging behind the desk.
