FFGene Real Eyes

FFGene Real Eyes are weighted fly eyes for streamers that need both a defined head detail and additional ballast. Their weight affects sink rate, while correct tying can help maintain the planned hook orientation, often with the hook point riding upward.

Construction and use

Mount the eyes crosswise to the shank with firm thread wraps in a figure-eight pattern. Once they are positioned at the intended height, lock the base with thread in front of and behind the component, then check that the hook gap remains clear of the body. Select the size and position to suit the hook and streamer profile; before tying, make sure the seating arrangement matches the hook geometry.
