FFGene Regular Tungsten Beads Metallic-4

FFGene Regular Tungsten Beads Metallic-4 are tungsten fly-tying beads with a central hole for conventional hook mounting. They form compact ballast at the front of the fly when the pattern needs to descend quickly through the water.

Construction and use

The metallic surface reflects light as a visible part of the finish. Thread the bead onto the shank through the central hole before starting the tying sequence. Consider the hook, eye, shank and intended profile when selecting it, then check passage and seating by hand. The bead should sit securely behind the eye; check the fit on the particular hook because eye and bend geometry vary between models.
