FFGene Silicone Chrome Legs
FFGene Silicone Chrome Legs are prepared silicone leg strands with a distinctive scale-like chrome print or surface treatment. Divide the tab into individual strands and use them as nymph legs, feelers, tails or mobile accents in streamers, saltwater flies and poppers. The chrome-scale pattern provides a clearly defined decorative detail on exposed parts of the fly.
Construction and use
Cut off the required number of strands, align them and tie them in at one or more points. For legs, use a relatively loose thread loop and tighten it moderately so the silicone is not cut. Short sections suit the sides of a body, while longer pieces can serve as tails or wing accents. Separate the strands carefully with a sharp tool and finish the head without excessive thread pressure.
