FFGene Silicone Legs
FFGene Silicone Legs are prepared silicone leg strands designed to be divided and tied into flies. The print and surface finish depend on the selected variant. Individual strands work as legs, feelers, tails and mobile accents on nymphs, streamers, poppers and saltwater flies.
Construction and use
Cut away the required number of strands from the tab and tie them in at the root. Secure silicone with broad, moderately tightened thread wraps; excessive point pressure can damage the soft material. Short sections can be positioned along the sides of a body, while longer pieces can remain as tails or wing accents. Use a sharp blade when separating strands, then trim the ends to the desired length after tying.
