FFGene Tungsten Beads

FFGene Tungsten Beads are tungsten beads with a central hole for nymphs and streamers. They concentrate ballast at the front of the fly, helping the pattern descend more quickly and maintain the intended depth during the retrieve or drift.

Construction and use

Dense tungsten gives the fly compact weight without an unnecessarily bulky head. Select the diameter in relation to hook size, body volume and current strength. Mount this central-hole bead conventionally by sliding it onto the hook from the eye before starting the tying sequence. Always check the opening against the eye and bend of the particular hook, as clearance varies between models.
