FFGene Tungsten Slotted Bright Beads-2
FFGene Tungsten Slotted Bright Beads-2 is a slotted tungsten bead for weighting nymphs, jigs and streamers. Tungsten concentrates ballast in a compact bead, while the Bright finish reflects light and gives the front of the fly a polished visual accent.
Construction and use
The slot makes it easier to fit the bead when the hook bend prevents convenient passage through a central hole. The design is especially useful on jig hooks and also suits selected conventional hooks. After fitting, slide the bead to the eye and check that it remains stable. Choose the diameter for the hook and fly proportions, and check that the slot and opening clear the eye and bend of the hook being used before tying.
