FFGene Zebra Silicone Legs
FFGene Zebra Silicone Legs consists of prepared silicone leg strands with a contrasting barred stripe pattern. Individual strands can be separated and tied in as legs, feelers or tails, while larger groups can form an accent in streamer, popper or saltwater-fly wings. The bars are a visible part of the finish, so strand placement affects how clearly the pattern shows on the finished fly.
Construction and use
Select the required number of strands, separate them from the tab and trim only after tying them in. For legs, place the centre of a strand under the thread, even both sides and secure it with several wraps. In a wing, align the strands with the bars facing the chosen visible side of the fly. Light, distributed wraps help avoid flattening the silicone; make the final cut to match the required length and profile.
