The Taimen Flat Magnetic Net Holder provides a practical way to carry a landing net from a vest, pack or another suitably secure attachment point. Its magnetic connection keeps the net organised while moving between fishing spots, yet allows it to be detached with one positive pull when a fish is ready to be landed. The flat format also keeps the carrying arrangement relatively low profile.
The holder is made from anodised aluminium and has an approximate magnetic pull of 2.5 kg. It is recommended for landing nets weighing up to 250 g. A rubber cord is included for fitting the holder. Before fishing, check the attachment at both ends and practise releasing the net in the direction you are likely to pull it, as movement and pull angle can affect how the magnetic connection separates. Rinse off dirt after use and allow the holder and cord to dry before storage.
