Green Tag Deer Wing Beetle

Green Tag Deer Wing Beetle is a beetle dry fly with a furry wing and green accent, intended for surface fishing. Use it from late spring through to autumn, when beetles fall from vegetation into the river. Present it on a dead drift beneath overhanging branches, along undercut banks and beside strips of vegetation.

A pattern for trout and grayling, as well as chub and dace. Choose smaller sizes when the fish are feeding cautiously. Barbless hook.
