H2O Flash Blend Baitfish Brush 5 inch (flash)

H2O Flash Blend Baitfish Brush 5 inch (flash) is a ready synthetic-fibre brush held in a wire core. Its 5-inch width makes it practical for large streamer wings and broad baitfish profiles without handling many separate bundles. The reflective flash within the blend can remain prominent along the sides and back, or be reduced while trimming the finished silhouette.

Construction and use

Cut a manageable section, secure the wire core to the hook shank and wrap it in stages, sweeping the fibres rearward after each turn. On large flies, control the spacing so the material does not become an overly dense mass. Tie off firmly, comb the fibres and taper the profile with scissors, or retain a broad wing with a clean transition toward the head.
