Hareline Barred Rabbit Strips
Hareline Barred Rabbit Strips are longitudinal rabbit-fur strips with soft fur and contrasting Barred barring. They are used for streamer wings, tails and backs, with the strip laid lengthwise along the shank.
Construction and use
Before tying, part the fur at the tie-in point to expose the skin. Remove excess underfur from the section to be tied down, trim the strip to the required length and lay it along the shank. Secure the strip from the skin side at the tail, behind the head or at an additional point, while controlling thread tension and the direction of the fur.
