Hareline Chicone's Crusher Legs are silicone leg tabs with prepared strands, intended primarily for nymph legs and also useful for feelers, tails and mobile streamer accents. The family is offered in Micro, Regular and Wide widths. The visual finish depends on the selected variant, so barred or colour-accented versions should be chosen by their specific variant designation.

Construction and use

Separate a tab into the required number of strands, or take several adjacent strands together. Tie them in at one point, fold them over the hook shank and secure the opposite side to create balanced legs; individual strands can also be used as tails or feelers. Choose Micro for small nymphs, Regular for standard-sized bodies and Wide for larger flies. Avoid concentrating excessive thread pressure on a single point.

  • Micro: 4 tabs, 20 strands per tab, approximately 14 cm long.
  • Regular: 4 tabs, 22 strands per tab, approximately 14 cm long.
  • Wide: 4 tabs, 9 strands per tab, approximately 28 cm long.
  • Material: silicone strands for legs, feelers, tails and streamer accents.
