Hareline Chockletts Gummy Wings is a translucent, flexible sheet printed with wing venation. The strip can be cut into wing shapes and wing cases, while the visible pattern helps reproduce the vein layout on a finished fly.

Construction and use

Match a template to the fly size and cut the required shape with sharp scissors. Tie the material to the hook as a wing, wing case or another thin profile, laying it over an underbody or a shaped thorax as appropriate. Light tension helps align the edges; excessive tension can distort a cut piece. After securing the material, trim the excess and finish the thread wraps cleanly.
