Hareline Fly Fish Foods Jr Bruiser Blend

Fly Fish Food Jr Bruiser Blend is the shorter-fibre version of Bruiser Blend streamer dubbing. Its fibres are approximately half the length of the original, making it easier to form a small, compact head without unintentionally lengthening the fly’s profile. The fine synthetic mixture remains soft and carries subtle flash while offering better control on smaller patterns.

Construction and use

Place the blend in a dubbing loop, wrap it, brush it thoroughly and trim it to the required head shape. It suits small baitfish, sculpin, leech, crayfish and shrimp imitations. When a large streamer head or a longer flowing outline is required, the standard Bruiser Blend is the more appropriate choice.

• Fibre: approximately half the length of standard Bruiser Blend.
• Effect: a compact, controllable head with restrained sparkle.
• Uses: small streamers, leeches, crayfish, shrimp and nymphs.
• Technique: dubbing loop, thorough brushing and precise profile trimming.
