Hareline Ice Dub Chenille

Hareline Ice Dub Chenille combines Ice Dub and Antron fibres in a ready-to-wind chenille. It builds a regular body while the fibres projecting from the core break up the surface with a varied texture. The material creates a sparkling body without the need to prepare a separate dubbing loop.

Construction and use

Expose a short section of the core by sweeping the fibres aside, then tie that section to the hook shank. Wind the chenille in adjacent turns, adjusting the spacing to control the body profile. After winding, the surface may be lightly brushed or the projecting fibres may be trimmed. It is suitable for nymphs, larvae, wet flies, Woolly Buggers and smaller streamers.
