Hareline Krystal Flash Chenille
Hareline Krystal Flash Chenille is chenille built with Krystal Flash fibres. When wrapped, it forms a dimensional body with fibres distributed around the core, adding visible reflection as the fly moves. It offers a practical way to incorporate flash without tying in multiple separate strands.
Construction and use
Expose a short section of the core, tie it to the hook shank, and wind the chenille in adjacent turns. Keep the tension and spacing consistent to control the finished silhouette. The fibres may be left full, swept back before each turn, or shortened after the body is complete. Krystal Flash Chenille is suited to Woolly Buggers, streamers, and salmon or saltwater fly patterns.
