Hareline Medium UV Polar Chenille

Hareline Medium UV Polar Chenille is a long-fibre chenille with translucent fibres for mobile bodies, collars and palmered synthetic hackle. The fibres undulate in water in a marabou-like manner, while the UV treatment adds a UV-reactive or UV-reflective character.

Construction and use

Expose a short section of the core, tie it to the hook shank, and wind the chenille in adjacent turns. Sweep the fibres back before each turn to keep them free and maintain an even profile. Use it for a complete body, a collar or palmered synthetic hackle. Once tied, comb the material or trim it according to the outline required by the fly.
