Hareline Micro Black Barred Groovy Bunny Strips

Hareline Micro Black Barred Groovy Bunny Strips are narrow rabbit fur strips, a multicolour effect and contrasting black barring. The Micro cut keeps the material profile controlled for smaller streamers, zonkers and slimmer bodies.

Construction and use

Select a section suited to the hook length and separate the hair at the tie-in point. Expose a narrow section of hide, secure it firmly without crushing the fibres, and trim away the excess. Position the barring so it remains visible after the fly has been shaped. Run the strip lengthwise along the shank as a wing, tail or back and secure the hide at carefully chosen points.
