Hareline Poly Pro Braid

Hareline Poly Pro Braid is a continuous braided material for building fly bodies, segments and selected wing sections. Its woven construction produces an orderly, even profile, and it can be wrapped in adjacent turns or laid in a controlled strip according to the shape required on the hook.

Construction and use

Tie in one end securely, then wrap the braid along the hook shank under controlled tension. Keep the turns close without crushing the braid. At the finish, secure the material, trim the excess and cover the tie-in with thread. The braid can also be used to form distinct segments or as a flatter wing element when it is laid rather than tightly wrapped. Its continuous form makes it suitable for repeatable body construction on streamers and other flies.
