Hareline Super Fine Dry Fly Dub

Hareline Super Fine Dry Fly Dub is an exceptionally fine, soft synthetic dubbing intended primarily for dry flies. Its fibres do not absorb water and readily form a thin dubbing noodle, helping the tier create an even, naturally tapered abdomen without excess volume. The quiet surface also allows segmentation formed by successive wraps to remain visible.

Construction and use

Take minimal pinches and spread them well along the thread before twisting. The material suits classic dry flies, spinners and emergers, as well as small wet flies when a smooth body is required. Compared with Micro Fine, the fibres are not cut as short; the Micro version therefore offers still greater control on the smallest hook sizes.
