Hareline Varigated Chenille
Hareline Variegated Chenille is chenille for building fly bodies. Its changing, broken colour pattern runs along the material, giving the body a varied appearance rather than a uniform block of colour. It can be wound on the hook shank wherever a clear, visually segmented body is required.
Construction and use
Expose a short section of the core and secure it firmly at the point where the body begins. Wind the chenille in adjacent turns, keeping steady tension and avoiding gaps. Preserve the changing pattern along the body, then tie off with several thread wraps and trim the waste. Select it for streamers, nymphs and other flies that call for a chenille with a broken colour character.
