Hydropsyche Tan/Orange Back

Hydropsyche Tan/Orange Back is a weighted Hydropsyche caddis nymph for fishing close to the bottom in rivers. Use it for trout and grayling in fast sections, stony channels and behind obstructions, where caddis larvae are a regular food source. Fish it by short-line nymphing, controlling a dead drift without excessive slack.

The orange back increases contrast in stronger currents. Choose size #8 for larger water, and #12 when fish are feeding more cautiously. The hook is barbless.
